Weimar Republic WW1 Barbara Cross 1923 (German Heavy Artillery Military Veterans Association Medal) - The Cross was instituted in 1923 as an unofficial award for the Veterans of the German Heavy Artillery who served during WW1. Just like the majority of the German decorations of the Weimar Republic era, the Crosses had to be purchased by the recipients and they were banned in 1935 by the Nazi regime. Extremely rare award.
